According to Manager Wang from Liaocheng Tianrui Steel Pipe Co., Ltd., the transaction volume of seamless steel pipes in Liaocheng City in April was 2,040 tons, with a transaction value of 32.4 million yuan, representing month-on-month declines of 9.73% and 13.83% respectively.
Xing Zhongying stated that in April, the trading volume and value of stainless steel pipes in Tianjin's market declined month-on-month, with year-on-year decreases of 19.05% and 23.04% respectively. Currently, the market's trading volume and value are in a downward trend, primarily due to insufficient overall demand for stainless steel products. Looking ahead, the overall demand will remain weak, and the fluctuating downward trend in trading volume and value will continue.
By product category, in April, the top-selling item in the market was seamless steel pipes, accounting for 660 tons of total market sales, remaining stable month-on-month, and representing 32.35% of total market sales. The transaction value was 10.7 million yuan, down 5.31% month-on-month, accounting for 33.02% of total market sales. The second-highest seller was stainless steel profiles (bars), with sales of 640 tons, down 9.86%, accounting for 31.38%. The transaction value was 9.1 million yuan, down 13.33%, accounting for 28.09%. The third-highest seller was stainless steel pipes, with sales of 550 tons, down 16.67%; the transaction value was 10.4 million yuan, down 18.75%, accounting for 32.10%. The fourth-highest seller was other categories, with sales of 190 tons, down 17.39%, accounting for 9.31%; the transaction value was 2.2 million yuan, down 26.67%, accounting for 6.79%.
According to dealers, the varieties with relatively high sales from January to April this year in the market include: cold-rolled stainless steel sheets with a material grade of 304/2B, dimensions of 0.5mm × 1000mm × 2000mm; cold-rolled stainless steel sheets with a material grade of 304/2B, dimensions of 1.0mm × 1000mm × 2000mm; stainless steel angles with a material grade of 304, dimensions of 40mm × 40mm × 4mm and 50mm × 50mm × 5mm; stainless steel round bars with a material grade of 304, diameters ranging from 8mm to 28mm and 30mm to 60mm; stainless steel seamless tubes with a material grade of 304, dimensions of 20mm × 3mm, 22mm × 3mm, 25mm × 3mm, 38mm × 3mm, 32mm × 3mm, 48mm × 3mm, 45mm × 3mm, 57mm × 3mm, and 76mm × 4mm. The sales of these varieties account for over 60% of the market's total sales.
