1、 Chemical composition
A333 Gr.6 seamless steel pipe follows ASTM A333/ASME SA333 standard, with strict limits on the content of each element:
Carbon ≤ 0.30%, silicon ≥ 0.10%, manganese 0.29%~1.06%
Phosphorus ≤ 0.025%, sulfur ≤ 0.025%
Chromium ≤ 0.30%, nickel ≤ 0.40%, molybdenum ≤ 0.12%, copper ≤ 0.40%, vanadium ≤ 0.08%, niobium ≤ 0.02%
When the carbon content is below 0.30%, for every 0.01% decrease, the manganese content can increase by 0.05% on the basis of 1.06%, reaching a maximum of 1.35%.
2、 Mechanical performance
Tensile strength ≥ 415MPa
Yield strength ≥ 240MPa
Elongation rate ≥ 30%
-At 45 ℃, the Charpy V-notch impact energy is ≥ 18J, and some measured values can reach over 40J, ensuring that brittle fracture does not occur under low-temperature conditions.
